New here. Happy New Year! I hope that everyone is blessed with a New Year that is full of happiness, joy, and great health. I found your channel from searching vision boards because me and my friends are getting together to make our vision boards together. I am going to subscribe to your channel. One thing about these goals remember to also write them down. At our yearly vision board get together ( this is our 5th) we get a new notebook and pen so we can write down our goals that are on our vision board and then write the steps we need to take to achieve those goals. Then keep track of our progress throughout the year in that notebook. It is a great way to also see how when you had an obstacle, you were able to overcome it. It is just so handy in so many ways. I always get the notebooks and pens at TJ Maxx or Ross, they are really nice but affordable. When we see the steps to achieve our visions/goals it helps us to make those to come to fruition. Let's get our vision boards swapped out with pictures of us doing those things or at those places this year everyone! I know we can do it!!!

Just started using a meal planning app to help with meal ideas and they also can add items to your favorite grocery/instacart app for pickups or delivery. I use Mealime and they have free recipes so you only pay if you want some pro recipes. It’s been a big help with meal ideas!

A good way to add more steps is to find a place within walking distance that has free wifi (library, cafe, etc) and instead of working at home you walk to that destination, work and then walk home. I did that last year and was able to get an extra 2000 steps in easily.

For something like step average, it would be kind to yourself if you judged your results off of how you ended the year. If you have a slump for a month or a season, especially with depression, it could feel like you messed up your whole year and either be really discouraging or cause you to push yourself too hard towards the end of the year. It might be healthier to look at how you ended the year to see if you succeeded, and we all know you did really great after your busy season ended and you built up more healthy habits and routines.
