You should wipe the dip stick first before you check the oil level. Just wandering but does it have a depth sounder?

If it hasn't been run in a while, there's no need to wipe it first; the oil will have settled in the sump and run off the unwetted portions of the stick. "Just [wondering] but does it have a depth sounder?" There is usually a choice of electronics in vessels of this class, and virtually all of them will include a depth sounder, if not a full sonar. SIMRAD, Furuno, Garmin, etc. have GPS/Plotter/Radar/Sonar solutions in a range of price points.

At least look at the oil readings....don’t pretend that you are know what you are doing.......the ones who want to buy are interested in guys how know....not pretend
