With line 24 - Point xypoint=getPositionButton.getLocation(); i got error & when i hovered the mouse over the error it gave a quick fix stating "change type of xypoint to point". When i clicked on it the line got changed to - org.openqa.selenium.Point xypoint=getPositionButton.getLocation(); & the error disappeared. I don't see any issue in that line in the video whereas if i use the same line in my practice i got error & it got rectified with auto correction. Can you throw some light on this.

Anna, in our project it looks like they have used the same frame work or dropdown for the early pickup and early delivery (time picker) times, which has same xpath and the same id, no name and when i tried with class got the error as "compound class not permitted". What should I do now

Use CSS Selectors instead. Or, if you only want to find the element using class, most probably, you will get this error if the class name has a gap inbetween. Solution is to remove either left word or right word from the gap. It might work.

Variable names start with pascal case. Don't worry about case sensitivity for now. U wil learn that in java. Just give a meaningful name.

With line 24 - Point xypoint=getPositionButton.getLocation(); i got error and when i hovered the mouse and placed it over getPositionButton it suggested quick fix stating "change type of xypoint to point" . You may have Imported some other point class. If you take a look at your import statement, you can see that. That's y, it has suggested to change to selenium point. While importing itself, if we import the correct statement, it will work fine. Please check your import statement, some other point class will be there.

Ok here are some assumptions why you get that error. 1. There is no main method. If this is the case, please add public static void main method. 2. The Java class might have been moved to some other place. What you can do is, go to the run configurations, (Green Play Button -> Run Configurations) and remove all references to the class. Now give Run As" -> "Java Application. This should work. 3. Clean the project. Project tab-> clean. Try these and let me know.

That's not a problem. You see statement starting with, import below your package statement right, those are called import statements. You have to use this import statement for point. If you hover the mouse over the point, you can see quick fixes, which may have something like import org.openqa.selenium.Point, use tat. Or else you can include this statement directly in the import section. import org.openqa.selenium.Point. this will eliminate the error.

I think it's is enabled. Is displayed will only check for the element displayed or not. Another way you can inspect the element, and you can see, disabled or similar named attribute for that element which may contain Boolean value or yes/no or something that's relevant. You can take that attribute and confirm. Inspect the disabled Element and you can see.

pls watch the video carefully, the Point class you have imported is wrong. Read the error message, its saying, It cant convert from Point class of selenium to Point class of AWT. You should use Point class of Selenium not AWT.
