this kind of thinking is exactly what i ask for as a chinese university student looking for future. the modern and global system is too structuralize. the academic system is losing meaning. the periphery is too weak because everyone want to become "the center" and "mainstream". human's future lies in whether chinese youth can think another way out and build a new structure. academy should serve the purpose of designing, activating, imagining this kind of structure change in society. learned a lot from this interview. thank you professor Xiang and dear host!
