@@zenzej actually, this is much much older. I have the comic book "Les Cigares du pharaon" where the Kih-Oskh (this symbol) is from (I have all Tintin books) and the book says its from 1964. But it's even older than my book because Tintin was first published as a weekly series in the newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle and the Kih-Oskh appeared for the first time in 8 February 1934. So it's almost a 90 years old reference from the 30's

Don't know if someone already mentioned this: in the game Lara often refers to the wooden crates as "boxes of cigars". I believe that this reference might come from the symbol printed on those boxes which almost matches the Kih-Oskh symbol used in the classic Belgian comic book "The Adventures of Tin Tin - Cigars of the Pharaoh". In this mystery story boxes of cigars are all marked with a symbol which in one scene also acts as a hint for the young detective Tin Tin.

One of the longer levels and again, some daredevil level jumps and Bond-like one-liners. The chocolates were saved. Torches were not, however. Hopefully the Rig is kind to her. Don't forget; the most important point of Lara is her torch. It shows where to go, I guess. The secrets streak is strong with this Lara. I am happy.

The rig should be alright. It's the following levels after that I think AI Lara will struggle against. She tends not to assume all enemies have ill will and one moment of hesitation against a flame thrower guy means instant death for her.

Grenades are an *excellent* problem solver. You realise that ENTIRE rigmarole with the vents and the key is because the way you entered the main Opera House area has a drop that is SLIGHTLY too high to climb back up... 41:40 is one of the very few times you see a level "flip" (apparently that's what the documentation calls it when the level's layout itself changes). Bacon Lara at the bottom of the first vent slope.

It's a shame they didn't show the roof secret, the secret path over the roof from 8:23 and from 8:04 when the roof looks forward on the other side of the abyss. The makers overlooked a mistake but you can climb onto the roof and there are invisible platforms in the dark. seems a little creepy.
