You are as a person and as a creator truly amazing ❤ your work inspired me to start and create sugar and wafer paper flowers as I’ve bought all the supplies and books more than a year ago but never even started to do them. Your flowers are absolutely beautiful, perfect and look so real . Hey Winifred, I’ve followed you for so many years I can’t even remember, but this video of yours made me realised so much has happened during this time! From the beginning I always wanted you to do my wedding cake when I got married, and when I was finally engaged last year, I was looking for you and found out you stopped taking orders for cakes! Fast forward, I had the hardest year of my life in 2022 and broke off the engagement in the midst of it. I literally felt like a part of me had died, and I had to start all over again. The silver lining in this was that the part of me that died, was the part that was living my life to how others expected of me - and that included most of the emotional baggage from my dysfunctional upbringing. It’s been a few months since reinventing myself and my life, pursuing what I truly wanted but repressed for so long (design). And you are one of the people/accounts that I most look up to for your dedication in showing up so regularly on social throughout the years and forging a path for yourself - your courage is admirable. I really enjoyed this video and will continue to support ❤

Dear May! Thank you so much for leaving such a heartfelt message. Though our situations are different, I can see the emotions we went through are so similar- I fully empathize with the pain you went through, especially when you said you "felt like a part of you died". BIG HUGS. But I am also happy for you at this point that you can see that, that was the part of you that lived our of the expectations of how others want you to be (we all have childhood trauma), and I am celebrating that with you! It may seem like a small thing but it is a huge milestone. I know it is not easy, and healing is not linear, at some points we might feel we fall back into the hole we climbed so hard out of, but never forget to celebrate yourself for all the hard and heart work you put in ok? Trust in the time and the process, and also have more self compassion for yourself :) Little things accumulate! :B Thank you for being so brave in doing this for yourself, for bringing up your repressed parts, & to finally tune inward to you. Hi Winfred, chance upon your youtube when I am searching for wafer flowers. Thank you for sharing. This is indeed encouraging to me and I believed many of us out there. I've constantly wanted to 'prove' myself good or best at certain things... being a busy mum, also felt 'lousy' many times. Your words had actually reminded me to enjoy the process... for me is in art crafts and being a mom. =) All the best ahead to you too.

Dear Alena, sending you a big hug! I want to assure you that it is OKAY being in the struggle- only when we approach our darkness can light peek in. You are exactly at where you need to be. Healing is a process, try not to be too hard on yourself and look out for little things that makes your heart feel joyful and slowly work towards that, you will then find your inner child and your inner voice that has probably been buried for many many years. It will take some time, but it will be worth it. 💘

So very thoughtful, heart-full and true. Within the last 1.5 years I've changed careers and have started pursuing art. Social media has "tweaked" me on every level and I fell into deep depression of not getting likes/sales etc.At first I was trying to do what everyone else was doing and that is a recipe for burnout. I went back to my "why" and what inspires me. Thanks so much for sharing!

I'm in the midst of attempting to doing something i love for so long, all i know is it has to do with creative work and baking, and oh also thinking of taking your class since 2 years ago.. 😂
