Don’t know why I’m so bothered by the lack of updates and changes. Disappears as he is doing the countdown (actually genuinely worried for his mental health etc), comes back from skiing having not finished - the major promise to us all…because “he knew he had to and shame on the doubters”…comes back without a word re having to be in…and now no BATH! I’m at a loss..where’s the accountability?? (I am being facetious here) but honestly…we bought into his transparency etc…and now it’s just ignored? Say something.
@talkintakos507210 ай бұрын
I guess he was giving us time to sign up to his newsletter and checking for updates behind that paywall. Since I'm taking a total guess here... Most of us didn't buy into that thing he's gonna upload for a while and rince and repeat the formula

@@talkintakos5072 I was that guy - paid to go behind the curtain and there was more of the same…no updates / background etc. just blogs on the past London house. It’s bizarre…I’m still here though 😂

@richardhardiman5973 have to admit I am fully aligned with ur feedback. This post seemed very disorganised. Before Xmas he was going on about his bath and the complexities of installing it. Now out of the blue, bath completely gone without any explanation and he is now looking at installing a shower!!!! We used to have daily updates where I could see some tiny progress from one video to another. Now, we get one video a week and I honestly don’t see what has happened in terms of progress from the previous week. It is a complete shamble!!!!!

It's so bad that I am now convinced this is not a viable building and just a KZbin Ad revenue. This building will not be habitable the way he has gone about it and it just shows that he has zero trade experience.

I apologise in advance if you will find this comment rude, but why does the creator need to give to any of you guys an update about his life, it’s his life and he is choosing what he will put out there. If I were you I would just move on. As you said he might not be very well with his mental health and I don’t believe comments like that will help. I recently watched some of his videos and now I am seeing all the negative comments. I am sure at some point everything will make sense to you that watch regularly 😊

I was actually really invested into this series and thought this guy was genuine. Now I’ve come to realise that his videos are nothing but Ad revenue generators. Not serious build videos. What a disgrace.

50mm is nothing. I'd like to know the u-value calculation. Not being a dick, just don't think it will meet building regulations, which will be required if it's going to be habitable.

Told you about all that stuff 4 weeks ago, you’d have saved yourself a lot of hassle. Done a lot of stuff backwards. Always put the floor down first then build the structure on top. Also insulate between the joists so you don’t build the floor up too high, costing headroom

This seems strange, ply floor, insulation boards on top so the soft insulation foam will be walked on even though there’s another layer on top. Surely this will give a non solid floor and will compress the foam over time making it less effective and also reducing the floor height leading to gaps up to everything. I’m just a DIY’er so maybe completely wrong.

Not Chris obviously but personally for pir I either use cut price insulation or get them from selco/ local builders merchants. Usually much cheaper than the big brand shops. If you're after a lot of it might be worth looking at seconds.
