loving vlogmas! I used to hate the darker winter months but now that I live in south Texas it's sunny mostly through winter and I miss the colder darker (and snowy!) months. Absence makes the heart grow fonder :p

I am also a winter girlie through and through! I love the "excuse" to stay in and be cozy, and t's something I wish I could convince myself of more in the summer, but I get in the same "must be productive" way. My favourite soup is either a crockpot mushroom & barley or what I'm having this week for meal prep--corn chowder with lime! You really can't beat a solid tomato bisque, though, and ugh, now I just want more soup!

Yay loving Vlogmas! My fave soup recently is to roast up any veggies with olive oil, honey, heaps of black pepper and smoked paprika, add in a tin of chickpeas for protein, roast for about 20 minutes. Add the veggies, hot water and a veggie stock cube into a blender to make it into soup, eat with a chonk of bread and more black pepper. YUM!

Good advice! And my favourite soups are cullen skink, squash, coconut and ginger and roast tomato, red pepper and chorizo. The last one is so easy as you just roast peppers, tomatoes, red onions and chorizo then blend it with ox tail stock. It’s really rich.

If you can find a cast-iron vs fiberglass footed tub, you will thank yourself later. Design over function just doesn't work and with your climate or mine the water must remain hot. Beautiful scenery and good your pup has some common sense on the trails.
