Self care rituals that keep me at peace: laying down doing nothing...no thinking, no self reflection, just being. Watching cartoons, reading fiction, crying (might sound weird, but it is extremely cathartic and my anxiety feels more at ease afterwards), eating good food (even if it's not healthy), and exercising. I loved this video :)

I agree with you.. after crying/talking to myself and kinda being my own self councilor ( that part might sound a bit weird lol) I feel more at ease

The intro about working out was so needed. It feels different when you're working out to honor your body 🧘🏿♀️

My daily routine is talking to god. Walking reading. And breath work. This has turned me inward and kept me in the moment and I’m more intentional about my life.

We have a lot of the same self care rituals. I recently just turned 41 years young and I’m at a point in my life where I don’t want to get to know anyone better but myself. I recently purchased my first singing bowl for my meditation practice and omg I love it so much. I like to wake up early in the morning around 4 or 5 am and just be still. I use this time to journal and spill all of what’s inside my head onto paper. I’ve been doing this since I was 9 years old. Meditating when the world around you is still, man, there’s just something magical about that. My time alone is so very important and for the last few years, I’ve been solo dolo. I’m single and my circle of friends is EXTREMELY small. Living in this way for me keeps me balanced and able to hear the voice within as I don’t have a lot of distractions in the way of people. I love to nourish my body with good food by cooking for myself and eating the food my hands have prepared with intention. I love love LOVE to read! I read all the self help, manifestation, magical, witchy, alchemy, autobiography, biography type books. I rarely read fiction although I have a few sprinkled in here and there. I’m just totally stuck on learning something new or learning about the lives of magnificent people and how they followed their dreams or overcame adversity. I love learning about how our world was created and came to be by our DIVINE SOURCE. I sleep with my books and I always travel with atleast 5 of them lol (I told you I’m literally OBSESSED 🤩). And lastly exercise even though I’ve been slacking for about a month 🫣. Love your content as always. Gotta check out that Billie Razor 🪒!

Waking up between 5/6am enjoying the peaceful sounds of the birds tweeting & the gentle breeze rustling the leaves on the trees. Meditating, reciting positive affirmations, stretching the muscles then sipping on a lovely cup of a herbal tea of choice. Being present and always thankful for my life, family and many blessings. These are all the things that I am learning to do to ease my anxiety and soothe my soul. 🙏🏾💐💚

I like to incorporate at least 3/4 things that make me happy. I find when I make these a habit my day is a lot smoother and peaceful 20-30 min walk (longer the better). Preferably with a physical book in my hand Yoga Journaling Meditation

So glad KZbin suggested your vid. Definitely trying to be more intentional with my self care. All the things you mentioned are things I try to incorporate. I do ok for a while then fall off. Trying to remember how good I feel when I do these things as an incentive to keep them going. Thanks so much for sharing! #Subscribed
