I struggle with self control. I usually defend myself and go back in forth with people because I don't want them to think they can run over me. But I just need to remind myself that God that will handle it. My puny words is nowhere compared to the sword that God will pierce through them for bothering me.

I would much rather have black shoes, even scrappy black trainers or black charity shop boots than have a black heart. For our Lord Jesus doesn't look at our outer appearance, He searches our hearts and by our fruit we will be known. If people go out of their way to devise evil schemes to make a brother/sister fall, they can possess every color shoe of the rainbow but it won't get them into Heaven. (Matthew 7). Yeah it can. We are visionaries first. We are to be mindful of what we wear and how we wear it. We represent God in all our ways at all times including how we dress. I believe many are afraid to asked God to dress them because they believe God has no fashion taste. He was the first fashion designer; He dressed Adam and Eve in the finest fur; Jesus coat was fought over because it was a quality coat; the Israelites were decked out with gold from the Egyptians because of God. I have asked Him before to do this; I like it; it's something I recommend.
