Thanks, we have a Planar (Autotherm) diesel heater, and it is connected to the fuel tank.

Thank you. Trafic has a smaller engine 1.6Tdi. In Switzerland taxes are much cheaper for smaller engines. And in my opinion, it looks much nicer than VW T6 :)

Great job, I especially liked the moving table. Can you please let me know what is the width and height of your sofa bed when closed? I am now trying to decide if I should make mine 70, 75, or 80 cm wide when closed, and 32, 34, or 36 cm tall without the mattress.

Thanks, It's 75cm wide and 40cm high without a mattress and our mattress is 10cm high. So in total, it makes a 50cm high seating position. I would recommend building 30/32cm without a mattress to have more headspace. But as we wanted to have a toilet underneath it was the lowest we could build. I hope it helps. Cheers Roman

@@AlternativeHouse thank you so much. Really appreciate. 75 sounds about right and yes, we also thought that the lower the height the more comfortable it will be. We have a plastic simple toilet (solids only with garbage bag in) that is 35cm tall. Mine is a LWB and the sofa will be L shaped so I will make a small section open top on the edge of the L shape (where you have your fridge) and mount a permanent thinner foam on top of the toilet to allow it to be the same overall height with the rest of the bed/sofa. I think it will work out fine.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I am also fitting out a Renault traffic, can I ask how high you made the base of your bed from the floor? It looks like you have just enough head room to sit comfortably.

Thanks. 40cm/15.8Inches it would be better a bit lower but then the toilet wouldn't find under the bed.

Yes, computer fan. I did make a hole in the floor.

The ventilator is installed on the floor. The toilet is attached to it with a washing machine hose which gives you flexibility.

So the cooker doesn't work properly, with tiny little gas supply. The bed is too small, under 1.83. and The ceiling is too low, to sit upright. It's not really a campervan is it? You are a nice couple but shouldn't try to invent the wheel, it already been done...A 70 litre water tank.....ouch.
