I love how you've made a SWB work for full time living. That's my plan eventually. ( Currently full time in a 6m motorhome....just for my large dog really!) @@thecamperroo7791 it’s the perfect size for us as we can almost fit a full length slide out bench bed. My partners 6ft3 so this was a major factor. And we can just about squeeze it into supermarket parking spaces if needed 🙌🏻

Greetings from Australia. Nice to see your conversion. I converted a 2014 Renault Trafic LWB van, which is a leisure van for my wife and me. We don't sleep in it. We have made some long trips in it but sleep in cabins in caravan parks. We are both seniors in our 70's and 80's and like a bit more comfort. The van has done well for us over the last 10 years. I did the conversion myself in 2014. I wish you well.

Very well done and a excellent video explaining how you have it set up for you. You can get led lights that run from a USB port and they can be bright if you need them and they don't use much power. 👍😊

I am going to do a build with a LWB Movano or master but will be fitting a cassette toilet but the trick will be finding a van that does not have moon miles and more hits than Frank Sinatra. It seems to be acceptable if you are a van driver to run into things with it like a few bashes are considered to be very good condition and 180K miles is low mileage LOL

When I looked before I didn't notice your big sink, a great idea. When we did our Vivaro, I chose a grey interior, a bad mistake, neutral but boring, so ours looks more like yours with lots of rustic colours. 8 years on our 08 Vivaro is still going strong, the best mid sized van of that era, how is yours?

Ok! That is the best and the most cosy looking camper ive seen yet and its not just because your gorgeous and sound lovely with a lovely personality but it is! Did you do all this yourself and did you insulate it? I have just bought a vivaro and i have bought evrything aswell from the foil to the battery..invertor to the cooker and sink! My question is..is the fridge a must have, it looks cool and does it use must electric and what did you use under your foil if you have foil for insulation...Gary..Cheers! x

Thank you :D Yes all is insulated, wool on the sides, rigid board on the ceiling and foil all around. For me a fridge is a must have but that's entirely up to you :D Good luck with your conversion!

@@nicroams ha ha if IDE known you then I would have caus I like... here Ive got a friend who has his bed pulling out from the side wall and just a little kitchen pod at the side of the sliding door at back, so that way he can walk in from back or the side door and he can lay stretch out even if his beds not pulled out. Wow what lovely set up! loved it well thought out and laid out! question where or how do you do number two's and dispose off! Also your gas is kind of locked away I do hope you have air vent under the gas bottle as liquid gas is heavy and will build up around the base of the bottle and can catch fire just a safety thought the vent lets the gas drift away. again love the van you look like you enjoy your self! that's what life is all about. First time I have seen around this wee van, always got my ideas from the other Vivaro, but I assume that is sold now. Amazing how much you can get in a SWB, only 400mm of a difference between it and the LWB. You will have to get a Chinese deisel heater for winter, we noticed ours cooled down quick last weekend and we had a campsite hookup, so just ran the small blow heater. The swivel double seat doesn't sacrifice space, you can still get shoes underneath, they make such a difference. Thanks for the tour, very homely. :))

My heater is a 2Kw, but I spotted this 400 watt heater on eBay, don't know how good it is. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163464567474 I think the swivel would still work, maybe have to remove some stuff as you do have to disconnect the seat belt pretentioner cable every time it needs rotated. It might be a faff, but great once in position. I paid £260 for the plate. Had a great trip at Machrihanish, the weather was great. 👍

I use a small wood burner in mine for if it gets too cold, much more enjoyable than a diesel heater, only problem is it sees very little use because I find it never gets cold enough in the UK to use it without having every window open and still sweating lol, even when it's thick snow on the ground I find sleeping in a wool blanket keeps me more than warm enough with very occasionally running the hob for 10-15 minutes for a quick blast of heat.

Not at all 😊 so we don’t get any post like bills or bank statements as we’ve set everything up to online. All we really deal with are parcels and most of the time there are drop off points we can use. Alternatively, friends/family and campsites with their permission 😊

Thank you! I have not changed it to a camper, DVLA changed their requirements in 2019 where small vans can not be reclassified in to a camper along with lots of other rules 😪

It is absolutely nothing to worry about. You can still get capervan insurance through Adrian Flux without the official DVLA change 😊
