Not sure why the customer didn’t get the storage cupboard door done as it looks awful next to the new ones. Truthfully honest mate, those top lights look terrible, and still will when painted, but customers seem to want to scrimp on a good finish which ultimately makes nee doors a waste of time.

Nice work but I would Definitely have put those boards into the recess of the top lights. I wouldn’t have asked the client. That said, I don’t know if there is a right or wrong. One guy commented about saw horses and I’d agree. Definitely get some. Get two sets. Cheep pop up plastic and more heavy duty. Merry Christmas bro 👍🏾🎅🏾🎄

Keep working hard bud,another chippy here,I like to put a chamfer back on the doors once planed down or use a block plane but a bearing guided bit on a palm router gives a better finish,also those panel needed to fit inside the recess,keep at it bud👍

What pains me about you ( I am a finish carpenter in the states) is this? One day I am working away ? A very seasoned finish contractor/ home builder walks up to me and states; “ I am watching you and what makes me think you are not a pro is the simple things you fail to do” ? I ask “ like what”? “ you have all the right tools and yet you work on the ground as if a $50 stand , or a couple plastic saw horses don’t exist “? “ But I know you’re aware of how to get off the ground , save your back, your knees, and work faster when standing at a gentlemen height “! I said “ yea you’re right”! He stated ( and this hurt) “ it shows your lazy and are prone to take short cuts “! I stated “ ouch “ ! And he walked off and never hired me again !
