My Father’s statement was “Get up and try it again”. I didn’t realize at the time how much love was behind that phrase.

I boosted my mood and found more joy by declining a doctor's order of Depakote and Resperidone years ago! 💯 FEELS GREAT! Thanks, Dr. Josh Axe! 👊

Anything helpful in the withdrawal process of Risperidone? I’m on 0.45 mg’s of a dose but I’ve battled my whole life to get off of it. For 24 years since I was 10… Any helpful advice? No one is able to fully help me it seems…

My husband and I tried to raise our son to believe “not me first but definitely me at the table.” Dr. Varmas analysis of life is truly in line with how to become one’s best self…health, happiness, success & longevity. In addition, we could have paid the full shot for his college. We said, “ you do the research for what college offers you what you would like to pursue and we’ll go half with you.” Both my husband and I recd no help going to college. My mother would squeeze a five dollar bill in her letter to me whenever she could. This was back in the days of female working & handing paycheck to male. Then male gives an allowance to his partner. Ugh! Dr. Varma has such a wise perspective on life. Thank you for giving the time to express her well explored ideas, experiences and thoughts. Every home would benefit from bringing her book into the light in their home.

Self help through psychology and counseling videos have been of help to me especially because of the shortage of counselors and trust problems due weighty issues complicated by people who are not of help.I found that the videos answered a lot of questions, confirmed truths and helped me to calm down and realize I wasn't crazy. They helped me understand what abusive tactics such as gas lighting and narcissism.

The best mental health hack I’ve found to deal with any struggles that pop up for me, is just pretending I’m a guy who’s not a giant weak baby man child, and just do what he would do. As Plato once said, “man up dude”.

PTSD does not let you choose optimism. PTSD controls the emotions, reactions and hour to hour, day to day struggles.
