Thank you for sharing. I am thinking about buying this one or the "L". You are one of two videos on KZbin of artists actually using these. Please post more videos. My concern is the buttons and the button panel being in the way when scanning larger paintings. I have canvases that are in the 18x24 range and larger and I'm looking for a scanner that I will be able to take multiple scans and feel that the bevel or lip that the buttons is in will cause a problem.

Came across this while perusing reviews of this scanner. In case you haven't, I suggest finding someone with a very nice camera who has taken pictures of 2D Artworks... paintings bigger than the flatbed scanner should be photographed with a digital camera. :) my 2cents.

Actually I am. I am still scanning stuff that you can probably see in my website. There is a grade higher of this scanner that runs about 1,000.00. That one would be better especially if you are doing work for big companies from home. But with this scanner model, the size-file you can get from this one is pretty impressive. Resolutions so large you can't email them haha. I would recommend especially. You get ALL the textures in your paintings too.
