I've just recently come to the realisation that I subconsciously think I deserve to be punished and therefore seek it out via others. I need to heal. Awareness is key though

I've experienced self-punishment. but none of it stemmed from critical parents or anyone similar. I'd be curious to explore the different ways it can happen.

The more your tap on this more you uncover the layers that have been hidden from your concious awareness, exposing the unwanted or suppressed memories that were locked in your subconcious

....in this present moment ... and paying attention at where i am sitting on sofa ...typing on my laptop the answer and concentrating on my hand movement and sound of my key bored. and sound coming from my aquarium bubble maker. focusing on my every action.....and meditating on every move....and how are you ma'am after one year :)

Hard relate to self punishment. I don't actually punish other people in any way overt that affects them, but I can't let go when I've felt anger at someone else. It causes me to be ill. Just more self punishment 😮

Yes. It causes a lot of illness. Thats where tapping helps to release those stuck feelings

I was walking home when I was listening to your video, the moment you said " and the reason why we hold on to this pain, is kind of wierd, because we think, they will learn something", I literally became weak at the knees, and for a split of sec wobbly. I have beating myself for nearly a half a year now, I can not stop but I am not able to function any longer either.

I have suffered this too many times. I love remembering that our natural state is Love and Joy. If we are not feeling that it is because we are holding ourselves back from experiencing it.
@antygona-iq8ew9 ай бұрын
@@RossanneClay it is difficult and long process for me but I keep going.

I heard about a guy who used to bully his little brother growing up just because he got more attention than him from their parents. It got so bad that the little brother took his own life. Idk about you but Id say people like that absolutely should punish themselves. In fact, I'd delete myself if I was him. As for me, I too bullied others pretty badly. Not to the point they took their own lives but still. People like us deserve to punish ourselves

You need to forgive yourself. This will release the bond between you and those you hurt. Try it.
