The winch is developed for steptowing. No jams. Special safety training neccecery for steptowing.

Why no steptow release ? Is not save.

Thanks for your comment! I run the rope under my knee. Here I feel every little force change. It takes 2 seconds before the force on the rope increases by 20kg (the steptow release works here). The force attacks in the middle, not turning sideways. I did a lot of security exercises to find the best solution. A steptow relaese is also a very good solution. For me, after unlocking, the double opening is more usable and more convenient. I test a lot of winches. I am trying to develop the most secure system.

@ I've seen accidents happen due to winch cables getting stuck. That's why I want to warn you. You are always too late to disconnect if it locks up. A steptow relaese is always faster.
