Awesome video Emily! I was diagnosed with lupus and pots this year at 21/22. It’s been a major adjustment.

Thank you for the reminder. I’m gonna work on my passion project right now 💪 Hope you’re doing well! Because of my disability it also took me longer to get to where I am but it’s possible. Grateful for people like you that share their insights. 💙

First time viewer here. Thank you for exploring this topic. Interestingly enough, I wouldn't say I struggled with these feelings when my disability initially happened, but I am struggling with them more now as a young adult in the dating world. I recently dated someone who was able bodied, very talented, and had very high earnings potential given her profession. Even though I have a solid job that lets me work remotely and I have been living independently ever since I left for college, I was always worried in the back of my mind that I wouldn't be enough for this woman. Things ended between us, but it wasn't until the end that I realized that it really wasn't me that was the issue but her (she was struggling with some issues from her past). That said, I still worry sometimes that because I have a visible physical disability, people will look at me and see the amount of responsibility that they think they're going to have and not see the true me. Best thing to do is to try not to think of yourself as less than, because even if you think someone else has it made (I thought that my girlfriend was damn near perfect, had everything going for her, and her life was maybe even more valuable in society than mine), they're sometimes even more broken than you think you are.
