That was my reflection too. If he was to only play enchanters and poke/trade sups, the instant they are not relevant in the meta will be a HUGE problem

he has a point but we will have to see. rekkles also talked about it as something to "pull off", so maybe his approach is just wrong. I don't doubt his experience but maybe he thinks it will be a lot easier than it actually is. I have also only seen him play enchanters so far

@@p.o.p5570 based on what? His past performances were not that good. Bwipo outdid him in his first split(to be fair bwipo jungle was insanely good). And he is not even doing well in solo que. Even if he wasn't that bad back then, he had quite a competitive break which would probably also make his level lower. Mostlilely.

How about his performance on FNC in 2019, he was the only western jg I've who can actually pick a carry champ and hold his own vs eastern teams, not even the so called eu goat jg could do that or how about the fact that he got rookie of the split award in his first break in a big team or how about the fact that he holds the record for most Pogs won in a single split in Europe

He refused to change or at least add some new play style to his convencional way to play and then roleswapping to supp knowing how he sees the game. Idk i am/was a huge fan of him but he refuses to evolve

Less pressure to carry in that role - When Rekkles has less pressure he is known to play more aggressively and more variety of picks. But will have to see

i mean maybe they can swap him in if the meta shifts into range supports so they have 6 people in the team and swap him in and out. Bc most of the melee champion players like hyli and kaiser are really good on ali/naut/leo but tbf arent good at range support like janna karma and Rekkles played a long time on adc so he might be better then them

the thing with league is even in a very clear cut meta if you have that kind of champion pool weakness and you are being subbed in it's opening the door for the other team to just run circles around you and completely make fun of you in draft. Like the shit teams will be able to draft knowing there's no threat of engage supports would be a ridiculous handicap for the team, so idk if it could work out.

you can not aim to be the best by playing only senna janna... there is almost no difference between diamond and challenger senna. It's very easy to play, so you won't make progress on it. Whereas Thresh is probably the best support to progress. Hylissang, Mikyx most memorable games were playmakers like rell thresh pyke poppy or even bard (mikyx godlike game vs suning). Playing easy enchanters with no aggression potential won't make you good at supports
