Irespect you dear Dr Hashmi. I have been deeply moved by your explaination on the consuumption of dairy products for CKD patients. What a suffering a cow undergoes being pregnant all tha time on behalf of the human kind. Pathetically the same creatures are being slaughtered for human consumption. I pray for nature's blessings towards you to serve the sick folks more efficiently . Thank you dear for your fascinating conversations and the pleasant face on the public platform .❤❤❤

Dr Hashmi. Brilliant as usual (from an 84 year old man) To Valsa abraham to reduce uric acid Avoiding alcohol and limiting some foods and beverages may help lower levels. ... Limit purine-rich foods non veg foods and dals. Thus limit the source of uric acid.. Avoid sugar. Drink more water. ..and coffee. Avoid alcohol. Manage weight. Manage blood sugar.

My eGfr was 73 in the hospital with a kidney infection. The nephrologist in my area will not call me back:( From my ct scan they saw multiple small cysts it said consistent with Echinococcus parasites. They were on my liver too. But my G.I. doctor refused to accept that they could be parasites. As a modern Nephrologist , do you recommend anything for echinococcus cysts?

On salty vegetables, I wonder how sauerkraut and kimchi come out. I eat these in in order to support my microbiome.

doc, does aging impacts on appearing cataract in one of human eyes especially those who suffer CKD Stage 3? Why ? Why not?

From Germany: I greatly improved the Minimal Change Disease with a plant-based diet. I was pumped full of medication by the nephrologist and got no diet advice except lower salt. After seeing one of your videos, I no longer eat meat and dairy, except a little milk in my coffee. I eat tofu, legumes and grow my own vegetables and have baked my oewn sour dough bread for decades, mainly rye and wheat (not bleached flour). Until that disease I took no tablets, ever, except Thyroid tablets. I am 80 years of age. I lost 80% of my hair and do not know why. Doctors do not care, since I am 80 and it doesn't matter they feel. It matters to me. Also, I was never fat, already ate mainly a plant-based diet and am losing more weight. How do I get enough calories on a plant-based diet? I do not want to get any thinner.

Eat avocado and nuts. They are caloric dense.

Thank you! I already eat nuts but do not eat avocado. They come from South America - too far a trip. Peanut butter - self made - its quite good. I forgot I had it. @@davidyong8719

Hello Doc! I'm just curious, do you have a book which contains these information? I would love to buy your book if you have.
