Selkirk, Manitoba, Embraces Silva Cells in Downtown Redevelopment

With its downtown core in need of utility upgrades, officials in Selkirk, Manitoba, took this as an opportunity to redevelop its city core and revitalize it economically. The city embraced green infrastructure from the start, installing Silva Cells in both its first two phases (Manitoba Avenue and Eveline Street) to assist in street tree growth and LID stormwater treatment. Silva Cells will also be utilized in subsequent phases, as Selkirk continues to redevelop its downtown city center.
