Never stop buying within your monthly sports card budget! If you believe in the market when it was hot and dumped in money, then now you should be buying more if financially possible. Ever hear that term rich get richer? Like down stocks or other commodities, people that can buy more usually do well on the rebound. My #1 is and always has been to collect what you like and stay within your budget whatever that may be and you will be just fine regardless of how the market is doing.

Love the content and the way the videos are produced. Grew up collecting and it’s still big part of my life. I would love to see tips on setting up at card shows. Their are a ton of new collectors in the hobby that are wanting to set up at shows. Tips on maximizing table space, organization, displays, value boxes, advertising for shows, etc. What are ways get people to your table to make a deal? I really liked seeing the antique malls in your episodes as you traveled. It’s the hunt and seeing new things that makes it even more fun! Thanks again for the content!

Back in early 2012, I was stationed in CA & purchased a box of 2011 Topps Update. After opening the packs, I stored them away with some other items. In 2016, I transferred to DC & finally retired in 2018 which is when I decided to get back into the hobby. I dusted off that 2011 Topps Update & was excited to find a base Trout RC along with a matching Diamond Anniversary. I quickly placed them in One-Touches along with other RCs. The cards are in excellent condition after all these years & military moves. Should I send them out to get graded?

Almost a year later, and that "recession" never came. Gas prices are way down, unemployment continues to remain historically low, the Dow and NASDAQ are seeing quality gains, growth has exceeded expectations to 2.6% last quarter, and now even inflation has dipped to pre-COVID numbers. Recession? Unemployment is at a 50 year low based on today's numbers. Gas prices have declined for 7 consecutive weeks as of reports earlier this week. There is a correction to the card market based upon unreasonable modern card prices in 2021, but vintage is still very strong. The National economy is not effecting the card market because we are objectively NOT in a recession.
@CHASINGCARDBOARD2 жыл бұрын
Those numbers have NOTHING do with the definition of a recession.

100% in a recession just wait till the food supply stops when ww3 kicks in its not if cause its gonna happen just when #lookaround
@DansVintageBaseballPC2 жыл бұрын
@@CHASINGCARDBOARD A Recession is defined as "a significant decline in economic activity spread across the market, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production, and wholesale-retail sales". A 50 year low unemployment figure and the reduction of inflation based upon a consistent decline in energy prices *most* definitely are relevant indicators. Additionally, Retail sales actually outperformed expectations in June and July, and actually saw an increase. I realize that the media you consume is likely telling you there's a recession because it helps them ideologically, but the numbers very clearly do not support it.
@bradymania93122 жыл бұрын
@@DansVintageBaseballPC The media you consume changes the definition of words to meet their agenda. To argue that we aren't currently in a recession is crazy talk.
