Don't make mistake ( again ) by going for Tata. Go for MG or wait for EVX. Tata is full if HV Critical issue (50% EV Sold have had their battery replaced with refurb packs ). Go for Mahindra only with LFP packs. The XUV400 has now generic Chinese NMC packs and not the LG ones.

Today you are getting 5Lacs, an year down the line you may not get even this much. EVs are getting better every year. It like the early 2000s laptops - every year the new models were much better than last year's models. So, used laptops had remarkably poor resale value. Nexon EV is a petrol-diesel platform hacked into an EV. It will never give buyers the benefits of a born native EV platform. And people fear Tata EV reliability and service reputation. If your car is running well, the best value you will get is by running it as long as possible. As for buying a new car with a bigger range, if you buy anything now in the nexon45 or Windsor bracket, you will again regret it in 2-3 years, because cars in this segment will go up to 50-55KWH batteries by then as battery costs continue to fall and energy density keeps going up.

Mahindra is launching with 45 kwh battery to compete nexon ? I guess should you should wait for atleast a month even i am waiting if xuv 400 with little bigger battery gets launch i will buy it too i also need more range than my taigo ev

If I were in your shoes I would never sell a car at loss . If your car is running perfectly, and you want a new car just for a larger battery pack, have looked into the possibility of upgrading the battery pack of your existing car ? I mean, is it possible to upgrade the battery pack to a larger capacity ?

Please don't buy Tata EV. Dealers are rejecting 8 years battery warranty even if there is small scratch. I tried selling, i am getting 6lakhs quote. Please for god sake, don't buy TATA. Terrible service centers.

Same situation happened with me just 10 days ago with my nexon ev 2022 model. I think it's not cars24 fault . The main culprit is Tata motors as they change nexon ev model every year further giving 3 lac discount on new car.

Sir to be honest technically no third party is equipped in India to evaluate a pre-owned EV. They evaluated physical condition, paint, dent etc but are they capable of evaluating the Battery? Say for example if your battery is still 85% or 90% good then your car range would have not dropped (may be 20-25 km could be only less than what you were getting on brand new car) and if the battery is still that good then They should definitely quote above 10 lakh, that is fair price for fairly healthy battery in a 5 star safety body pack. I think Tata should give you best price, or you try to make the brands compete by selling it to other EV car company in lieu of a new car from there and see if they offer you fair price. Otherwise just buy a new car (may be windsor with BAAS could be affordable) and share this car for rental hauls with some professional services.

The longer you keep this car the more will be the losses. Better to sell it for a better price than that of Cars 24 offer. The simple reason is car itself is a depreciating asset and it's more with that of an EV car. Now Nexon 45 kw is being launched. I am 100% confident that Mahindra will launch 50kw with the same price of Nexon 45 kw to thwart the competition. Punch EV will definitely get an update with a 40 or 45 kw battery pack. In a nutshell there will be an intense price war to attract and retain the customer. Better to sell this and opt for a car which you can keep it for next 10 to 12 years. If I have money and were in your shoes I will choose the Curvv EV 55 kw battery pack which can easily give a range of 400 km in a single charge. Recently the famous Tamil Nadu KZbinr Viprajesh of Auto Trend Tamil channel has successfully driven the car from Salem to Kanyakumari with 3 people and had clocked a range of 460 km in a night drive. You can check it in his Auto Trend KZbin channel. So, it's better to sell this and opt for a CURVV EV 55kw as a one time investment option..

Bhai mujhe lagta hai... We people who bought prime and max at a high prices, we will not get resale value. As new evs are cheaper compared to what we have paid. This is painful even for me as i have a prime, M also not getting good resale price.
