I have a question why wouldn't you use a cast net rather than 20 little hooks wouldn't catching bait when they're like way they were in the first part of the video

Usually you use a cast net when it’s more shallow because in order for a cast net to work the lead at the bottom has to close in order to catch the bait and in deeper water if you cast net the bait can just swim down because it would take longer to close unless you pull the cast net up either way losing more bait, also using hooks you can reach bait that is deeper since if you have a cast net, it falls slowly causing the bait to get scared and run, then end up not catching anything, while with hooks you hook the fish pull them up while not spooking them much; or it could be for fun or you don’t have a cast net at all.

You can cast net out there I do regularly thing with cast net I knocks off alot of slime and scales bait dies faster than if you sibiki. What I usually do is catch a couple dozen bait with sibiki they stay alive all day and then cast net and use the ones I cast net first and cut up and Chum with the ones that die

No, when they are put in the Bait Box, just gradually die from lack of Oxygen. That's why I change the saltwater quite often.
