Wow! Great information. This not only applies for crystals but applies to all products we intend to sell online. Regarding the lighting and editing in pictures! Girl, its so true! We order something and something else arrives, thats so irritating. When asked the seller they mention photography effects! I feel its so misleading. I am a buyer not a seller. This is great advice for sellers. I have purchased lemon quartz that was sold as citrine. I didn’t leave a bad review but I left no review. I didn’t want to damage the seller but I will not purchase from this seller again. My biggest pet peeve is the listings that do not indicate the item size. I no longer message the seller to ask, I just move on.

@@ColdBrewBarbie I am seeing more and more lemon quartz being sold as citrine. I don’t think the sellers realize that they don’t have the real thing. That faint greenish tint to the yellow is the tell for me. I have one piece but I won’t be fooled again. I am sad that nice sellers are being fooled and thereby hurting their credibility.

Here agates found are maybe the best quality from what I am seen online.. Most are dyed, heat treated and still not in same level as what we find here.. I have a big collection of amazing pieces.. Its time to sell on etsy I believe,but I connect emotional with my stones and its difficult to let them go for those prices.. Polished ones are going minimum 10 euro a gram.. Some amazing jasper too

People should always be able to choose their own crystals . even though it isn’t your full time job it’s still pretty good for total sales I would say that’s crazy good revenue . I’ve seen some companies get HUGE on Etsy my classmate had a tea company less than a year ago and now he’s at like 800 sales or something . What is your opinion on crystal subscription boxes ? I saw someone unbox one and I’m not sure how I felt about it value wise lol . Seems like consistently on Etsy and the algorithm is similar to yt /insta and tik tok .

New subscriber here, hello 👋 Great tips in your videos, really helpful! But I’m still not ready to open my own little crystal shop. I watched few live sales from China on Instagram... OMG it’s so hard after you get used to local US live sales 😂 In general I find it very hard to shop for crystals this way. I’m a type of person who needs to touch and feel. There are some shows happening really soon, but because of Covid-19 traveling restrictions and quarantine, I don’t see how is possible to attend 😭

Depending on where you live you can try to find a local warehouse or supplier or maybe even a mine that is open! Otherwise online or crystal gem shows are the other route to take!

I think it’s totally fine to do this. The only hard part is if they call in love with crystal #2 and click the listing and only crystals #5 is available that can be frustrating and misleading! But like I said totally up to you!

It’s amazing how many people don’t know what they are selling or don’t care they are scamming customers! A local shop sells FAKE citrine. I now refuse to shop with her after pointing out that she was selling amethyst as citrine she basically stated that real citrine was rare and a lot of people “in the market” sold amethyst as citrine and that it was commonly sold this way so it was no big deal. I don’t buy the crystals for their looks only I buy them for their metaphysical properties so they need to be The real thing 😡

When crystals are “intuitively chosen” I just assume I had better be emotionally prepared to get the lowest quality crappiest looking one in the pile shown 😂 which is unfair to the customer with the disappointment and to the crystal which could have been chosen for a specific connection to it. (I firmly believe there is a person out there “for” that stone no matter how silly or low quality it looks.)
