Place a large order with me my colleagues and the colleagues decided to disappear and take The old inventory with them. Obviously are not going to help me pay this I'm not gonna help me pay the bills I don't know if you have advice how to talk to these vendors then I'm struggling I'm trying to pay them all now after we I had already placed the orders. And they have all been so wonderful taking care of me and teaching me as we go and I just now so ashamed we have to go to that with like that advice?

Good solid advice. I was rude when I first got "misrepresented" crystals from China. I learned that they only respond to politeness and respect. It's the only way to be - getting angry doesn't help at all

You’d think so! I see this stuff over and over again! A lot of my supplier have become my close friends and always tell me how awful some people can be! Half of my company is China and my first visit they told me it’s just different and not to worry when they talk loud!

Thank you for telling people not to hog the show. I was wondering if it was bothersome to anyone else but me! This is rude and so is making a big deal that they did not get the claim because they see their name come up first on their own screen but it was not first on the seller’s screen. I have seen very successful crystal seller’s do this, They do live sales themselves and clearly know how it works but insist on throwing tantrums. Yes they’re are huge crystal shoes online! It’s a great way to buy crystals at a cheaper price vs. buying though an American seller. Some collectors I know buy that way and just keep them! Oh man I need to get into the crystal TikTok world!!

Can you tell us what you know about ethically sourced crystals? I shared a live sales show from China on a witch FB page and was immediately asked about it being an ethical source. Oddly enough, I haven't found a ton of information about ethical sourcing of crystals/minerals beyond emeralds and diamonds and such. NOw I am REALLY curious. I will keep researching but would love to hear what you know. Thanks so much!

So glad you found it helpful!! You can find supplier reviews to make sure you’re shopping with a legit supplier. Or check their Facebook pages reviews to see what their customers say about them. Another great way to source crystals is going to a local gem and crystal show! Or if you can go to one of the huge shows like the Tucson gem show! You can also visit local mines if they’re in your city!

Oh that’s so awesome you’re watching my videos!! I think sometimes at the beginning you may only have a few people watching until you build up a following. On Instagram if you post pictures with hashtags you’ll get more people to discover you. I find Facebook to be easier to do live shows because you can share to groups and have a higher chance of people seeing the live show! Is this something your going to do long term or just short term. If you’re going to do it short term I think it would be better to just do Etsy!

I've only had one bad experience buying through a live show from a seller. She's a regular crystal seller so it's not like a wholesale thing but I work with about 6 women I buy crystals from just to support their shops and she's the only 1 I've had continuous issues with every time I go into her lives. I tried not to take it personal the 1st couple times but after a while it was like funny how she is only seeing messages from the girls she knows lol! Especially when you claim something a few times in a row and she doesn't see it at all Shell after show after show repeatedly lol when something starts being off I just kind of move on and not use that seller any more. It's like if I'm working with 5 Or 6 different girls buying crystals in their lives and you're the only one who seems to Never sees me Claim but always sees me ask if she saw my claim lol! When you end up feeling angry and frustrated repeatedly with a seller probably a good idea just to walk away there are so many other amazing sellers out there.

I find the live show wholesalers frustrating. Sometimes it's so busy you can't get to see anything and yes people hog the show and you can be waiting hours to be helped. The poor supplier is run off their feet and then shut down the live with only a few things in my basket and then not worth purchasing the products with shipping costs. But the people that hog the show and you don't get a chance to buy anything is so, so annoying!

Asking sincerely, why do we have to maintain a relationship AFYER we've spent the thousands of dollars? Why is it rude to drop contact if we've already finished our purchase? They got their money, I got the products. What more needs to be done? I do not maintain a relationship with my cashier at the grocery store, or at Sephora. How is this different?

you don't NEED to, but better relationships get you better products and better deals. My suppliers save me the best stuff because of it. I can't run my business without them. This is a very competitive industry and having the best of the best sets you apart. This is based off my experience with my business.

Also a cashier is not a person who you need to maintain a relationship with. They are paid help they don't own the company nor care about what you do with your product or even who you are. Business relationships are VERY different than a random casher. That's not really an apples to apples comparison.
