the fish vaccum thing has rope anchors so you could put winches on your boat to move the boat into place, though it will probably only really work with smaller boats.

How about a radio control for the fish gantry? They work the same way the fuel gantries work.something like "GOM - Gantry Remote Controller" on the workshop.
