Geums will keep on flowering the more you cut them. Lovely underrated plant. Nice bright bouquets for spring....and your dahlias are soo ready for planting....just watch those bloody snails and slugs. Id use "slug em" until theyre big enough to not be bothered by pests. Another plant that might be a nice, easy grower and filler is yarrow -"pearl". Small fluffy white daisy like flowers without a yellow centre. Very delicate looking and feminine.. good tall stems and glossy slim leaves. Perenial and comes back quickly, early spring and would be great for weddings.

Hi Jo, thanks for all the tips. I haven’t cut Geums before so wasn’t sure. I’ll cut them now I know it will help them flower more. I do have yarrow! I have white and this year I’ve put in a lovely terracotta. Think it will be great in autumn bouquets.

Yes do Ginny! Not my idea but definitely a great one. A little fiddly to make but handy for all those spare shorter flowers you might not normally use.

Gorgeous flowers. Hopefully you will get boost of numbers and get over 1k. You work so hard. Do you homeschool the child/children or is there a virtual program. My children are adults but can't imagine homeschooling. I'd say you would need to be very disciplined etc.

Hi Anne, it would be weird to hit 1000, I was freaked out when I got one subscriber 😂 I homeschool the children, we don’t use a curriculum. It’s not too difficult and it fits in around my day.
