This is interesting. I used to sell many books through FBA, but pulled out about 6 years ago. I may make a goal of adding FBA back to my selling platforms in 2025.

I just started back “seriously” in February. I was scared to sell ex library and old stuff. But it turns out it sells and often. I just had to take the leap again. It’s not for everyone and I don’t think Amazon will ever be my primary platform but it’s a nice addition to the tool box.

Thanks for the ex library info. I heard someone else go on and on about how nobody wanted ex library. My library always has a cart full of giveaway books. I think true book lovers want books no matter what. ❤

As a consumer/buyer/collector, not a reseller , I stay away from Amazon for anything older than 50 years, esp. if signed, and I stalk eBay listings for that kind of material. eBay typically has accurate photos and better descriptions. Amazon just seems sketch , and I have particular tastes well-refined after 20+ years teaching/researching. So, this goes along with what you're saying in the early part of the video I think

This feedback is super important! Also the reason I’ll never give up eBay. As a buyer I want to know exactly what I’m getting when it comes to first editions, signed, collector edition copies, etc etc etc. you can take your own listing photos on Amazon! Unfortunately most sellers don’t because they feel it’s a waste of time when there’s already a stock photo. You can even create your own listing for an item on Amazon but I amazon doesn’t really make it easy to do it and make the sale that way.
