My friends daughter is taller than her hubby, and she had a beautiful dress, really unusual, and wore her vans under her dress. Hell, you can pretty them up if you really want to! You can even get wedding wellies, so anything goes. It's YOUR day, so go with what says the most about you both and your relationship 💖💖

Liam, you could always wear lifts in your shoes, they're like little things that you can order online/get in shoe shops that just give you that little boost, that way you won't have to wear heels 😊 Ps. I wore flats when marrying my husband and I preferred it so much more as I was comfortable all day and I didn't have to worry about tripping when walking down the Isle! I'm so excited to see you guys get married! ❤

I’m the same height as my husband and have never felt comfortable wearing heels and being much taller than him, so I wore flats when we got married. I’m also 5’10”, so wearing heels makes me feel like I’m towering over people. It’s your wedding, you choose what makes you happy, comfortable and beautiful. There’s no rule that says you must wear heels, many brides choose to wear ballet flats, Converse, cowboy boots or sandals, it’s your choice.

They came to me at 14 and asked me “ mom make that your last pack!” And they had been throwing my cigarettes away I would get so mad…lol but I’m so glad they did as I rarely miss smoking!! Paper invitations DEFINITELY. If it’s on social media or something similar then you will have people wondering or asking why they weren’t invited or whatever. You could call and ask for addresses, or have a sibling, parent or friend call to get people’s mailing address. ❤

Congrats on quitting the vap/smok-ing, the hard bit is mostly done. Replacing the nicotine gum with normal gum worked for me (about 18 years off tobacco). And 37 years off alcohol 🤣🤣. Love you two, you bounce off each other so well.

I’m the same height as my husband so when we got married last year I wore flats. My dream wedding shoes were the Florence flat from Emmy London but I didn’t want to spend that much money on something that would be covered up by my big dress and I’m glad I didn’t because I had an amazing day and by the end my shoes were trashed! No regrets ❤ I found some beautiful ones from paradox London that were a see through lace and I felt so special in them. My husband wore shoes that had pretty built up soles and mine were as flat as possible.

Congratulations on quitting! I highly recommend the Allen Carr book The Easyway to Quit Smoking, it will help you with the psychological part. I quit cigs in 1996, best thing I ever did for myself. I was 36 then, and I’m 64 now, and I can’t imagine my health and looks today if I hadn’t made that decision.

I am also tall - 179cm (180cm) I would buy 'no heel' wedding shoes. At my sister's wedding 15 years ago I wore high heels in 42. They looked a bit big. Now I would need 43. I wouldn't wear that again because it's not comfortable ,my feet were hurting and had blisters next day.
