Hiya! As someone in attendance I totally agree with the table thing, it was definitely a little hectic walking through and getting shouted at, I was solo for much of the con and being so anxious the shouting was kinda scary lol. Loved your table and your cosplay though!! My friend was so excited to see ORV stuff and I'm so happy I was able to get it for him

This year was my first AB and I bought one of your Aventurine charms!! Since his lore dropped literally 2 days before the con I wasn't sure if he'd have a ton of merch, your booth was one of the couple that I managed to find that had such an adorable charm :) Your art is stellar and I hope to see your booth at other cons. I'm really glad you enjoyed AB overall and your booth was successful

I heard about the person who was photographing artists in a few discord servers I am in. I didn’t go to AB this year, but last year I remember the booths being absolutely mobbed everywhere!! It was insane how many people were in the area. You couldn’t move or breathe at some points. A lot of the attendees though go to spend money on dealers and artists alley too!! It’s a very art friendly place.

Considering the only table you appeared to record is your own, I doubt anyone minds you recording in the artist’s alley. I was there this year and considering the most congested part of the con was the Artist’s Alley, you might be right about the set up. This was a nice vlog.

I have a suggestion for people wanting to see the detail, you should get a photo album of sorts and put most of your prints in there, the last con I went to someone did this and I was able to see all the details in their art, hope this helps! ^^

HI! I was there - I was booth 149 so right behind you! this was one of my best cons ever and I hope i win lotto for next year lol. But yeah I was in that small row in the back and actually on Friday staff asked us to pull our tables back by about a foot to widen the aisle. Saturday/Sunday there was staff stationed at the corner to say "one way only" and were pulling attendees back. I might have lost some sales because of that, but given how well I think we all did, I can't really complain.

Omg this popped up in my recommended, I was there on Friday and Saturday with some friends and we bought your Sparkle, Blade, and Dr. Ratio charms! I also saw your postcard print with the little cat in the raincoat, it was so pretty that I had to get it as well. ❤ You’re also so right about the layout of artist alley, not only was it probably stressful on the artists but it was almost like a labyrinth in the sense that I would walk by a booth and then never be able to locate it again 😭 I hope they end up doing isles or something in the future. Thanks for sharing your experience, I’m glad you enjoyed Anime Boston :D

artist alleys have become my favourite part of conventions besides cosplay. i find so many amazing pieces of art and merchandise of my favourite things which are sometimes really nieche and most of the time have no good official merchandise if at all. these artists are the one's that really know what the fancommunities like and want and they never disappoint. also having a chat with the artists and fangirling about the characters you are buying a keychain of is such a fulfilling experience. if i ever get to have my own small collection and booth, i'll probably spen all the money i earned right back at other artist's booth lol thanks for the insight on how a convention as an artist can look like!
