2:09 Hello, just to clarify (I’m an artist who went as a helper) -- ACEN did NOT require us to put their sign on display. It wasn’t mentioned in their guidelines. I am commenting specifically to this only because this was a conversation I had with my friend!!! Haha. In insisted she needed to put her acen-printed signage and number on the front of her table, and she said it was not part of the requirement. So minutes before the show started, we both reviewed the guidelines … and it wasn’t mentioned there. 😊

thanks for the clarification! idk why i totally thought it was part of the requirement but i must've gotten it mixed up with another convention 🫣 regardless, i always advise artists to put the sign with their table number up since it helps attendees find your table again if they're looking for you ☺️

It was really nice to meet you! I saw you were doing a One piece stamp rally randomly on instagram and I followed you. Had to drag my partner and his brother around because I’ve never done a stamp rally before and wanted to get it done before all the Yamato’s got claimed. why do they not allow stickers?

I believe it started because attendees were putting stickers where they don't belong around the convention center, which led to the banning of stickers since the convention center was not happy about it 🫣

Do cons not give you internet access? I'm so used to convention centers not having any stable phone connection as an attendee. I'm not sure how you'd manage being a vendor!

no they don't 😔 you have to pay if you want to use the convention wi-fi (and it's almost always pretty expensive) the only con I know that provides artist alley with free internet access is anime expo
