Selling Silage, Harvesting Carrots & Growing the Farm | Survival Challenge | FS 25 | Timelapse #09

Welcome back to the Survival Challenge from $0 to $10 000 000. The silage bales we prepared yesterday are now ready to be sold. To make the process more efficient, we invest in a rectangular bale baler and head out to collect them. The sale of silage bales brings in a solid profit, while the straw bales are transported to the animal dealer, where they will later be exchanged for manure to enhance soil fertility.
With the bales taken care of, our next task is expanding our farmland. We connect a new plot of land to our existing field using a powerful tractor and a plough. After successfully merging the fields, we return the equipment to the farm parking area, ready for the next job.
Now, it’s time to harvest carrots! Our carrot field is fully grown, so we purchase a trailed root crop harvester that works perfectly with our compact tractor. This method keeps our harvesting process efficient and cost-effective, as the combine stores carrots in crates directly on the field.
Once harvesting is complete, we need to transport the produce. To do this, we buy a forklift attachment for our tractor and load the carrot crates onto a platform trailer. Finally, we deliver them to the cannery, where they will be processed into canned goods, adding even more value to our farm’s production.
