Keeping a comic in that good condition for 85 years is pretty insane

Oh man, this is reminding me of my grandpa telling me he had ALL of the original superman and other comics when he was a kid. But his father moved around a lot for work and made him get rid of all his comics. God damn, imagine if he would've held onto them.

When we were younger, Superman was old and busted. As we got older, we see he was that safety net we all kind of need. And now, for this family, quite literally.

Nobody else think its incredibly sad that this guy spent his entire life collecting and preserving all those comics and now his family is just going to sell them off for a quick buck.
@iamdmcКүн бұрын
kinda but at the same time at least they'll extract some value from a pile of paper that has no meaning to them if it was my family selling off my collection after I go I'd be happy if it helps to make their future more comfortable
@KamunchuКүн бұрын
if by quick buck you mean extraordinarily life changing generational wealth? No I do not think it is sad at all.

Its approximately four million dollars, that's not a quick buck that's a fortune

Wait a minute, you guys are the monsters that abandoned your father, sold his stuff, and still disrespected in the grave.

I'm pretty sure their father cared more about the comics than them.
