Please get the Blackwing. You definitely need something different to drive and mod up. Just make sure you take it for a nice long test drive. You want to be completely happy with the car. Comfort, performance and reliability.

German cars are usually well-engineered but "emotionless" as you put it. It's a long-held complaint especially from those who are used to cars from places like Italy. As a kid, I remember falling in love with the Alfa Romeo Brera, as I thought it was one of the most beautiful hatchbacks ever made, even if it wasn't the best performing. Unlike most of your commenters below, I'm not sure if it's wise to buy the same car (the Giulia QV) three times, but hey, since when was buying a sports car ever a rational decision. I've also heard the line "BMW have lost their way" many times before, but frankly, it could be argued that it already happened after they peaked with the E46 M3 and E39 M5. Plus, it's probably far from being the only brand to "lose their way" *cough* C63 4-cylinder *cough* . If you want a great manual transmission, Hondas are pretty hard to beat. I know I just suggested a 1st-gen NSX on one of your previous videos, but if you want a practical 4-door that's reliable and fun to drive, maybe try a FL5 Civic Type R. I think the novelty of a Japanese hot hatch is enough to make great content on your channel. It's a little big for a hot hatch, but smaller than the M3 (not to mention better looking). While it's way less powerful than other cars in your stable (though 315hp is no slouch), the benefit is you can push it harder on the roads without risking your license.

When you bought the M3 it always seemed like a rebound relationship. You just have to compare the BMW videos with the ones you did in the Alfa, when you got the M3 your words were "great car", "lots of fun", but your voice was saying something different. You may not even have known it yourself at the time. In the Alfa videos you really seemed totally emotionally involved and genuinely into the experience with a real connection to the car. Get another Alfa and don't waste your time with anything else.

Great video! I don't think the CT4V Black Wing is a looker like a Red QV would be. The Black Wing is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but the rarity and exclusivity of a Rosso Alfa QV, not to mention how aggressive it looks just fits you so much better. Then again, I'm partial to everything Alfa Romeo throughout it's history.

I've owned a QV for the past three years and the only car I would trade it in for is the Blackwing. However I would take the CT5-V Blackwing with the manual transmission. That V8 is epic.

You won’t like the CT5 V its huge and heavy and very hard to extract power on public roads the CT4 is same size and nimble feel of the Alfa

With the G80 M3, they definitely studied the F80 vs Alfa QV and put a lot of touches in the car to make it faster than the QV. But for some reason the ZF Transmission wasn't programmed the same way so those down shifts aren't as quick.

the Cadillac CT4V Blackwing is a true direct competitor to the Alfa how it feels so sharp and fun plus they are the same size the G80 is much larger in size overall. I like both the Cadillac and the Alfa but i have more emotional connection with the Alfa still.

trust me i had 3 heavily modified CTSV 2010, 2012 and 2016 well over 750hp all of them and around here all you do is burnouts and stoplight racing with kids it gets old quick and i enjoy the twisties and smaller cars more than smoking tires as ive gotten older.

So I’ll say you were never excited about this car but man I’ve had mine for a year now and I completely feel the opposite! I hear you on the emotionless part but I want all the tech and features in this car. Automatic is not an option for me ever. That, for me is the epitome of emotionless. I am also not an American car fan. The interiors are cheap and are very underwhelming as well as they just flat out don’t stand out on the road to me. I flat out hate everything in looks about the Cadillacs. They still look like my grandfathers cars. No thank you. I’ll take the engine and trans and that’s it lol. And of course this is just all my opinion. One question and no shade behind it… these cars are expensive! So why go back to another Alfa when the previous gave you all of those problems? No way in the world I’d reconsider something that had so many problems!

i think i would have kept the M3 if i had the comfort seats the carbon seats were torture to deal with daily 15X a time getting in and out. they look cool but not practical for a daily driven car.

Fyi i buy cars for ME not for views i never will buy a car for views that’s ridiculous to think that, there are those other channels who don’t have a real business or talent to create products and services. i do content for fun only from day 1. And I own some incredible cars that I actually drive often. I really would like to try the Blackwing out just to experience it and enjoy the final manual sport sedan you can buy currently if it sucks I dump it for a 2024 QV and at least experienced the best cars in the segments. Think I'd look P GT3 or GT4 before a Blackwing or another QV. Had my share of Italian makes...lovely to look at and pain and expensive to fix. Cadillac...well it's a Cadillac. Just IMHO. Guess if you are looking to do content go for whatever.

Whatever you do please drive one first especially with these seats I bought it without driving it and later regretted it. The seats with the manual is really uncomfortable to daily but for a weekend only car would be fine. Try out both style seats as priority these cars are amazing performance cars and i feel the Comp with 8 speed is better street car

It was ugly the day it came out. I used to own BMW M3's.....but will never own another one. The Alfa interior is far better looking. A classy Milanese design with simple elegance. The screen in that M3 is hideous!

the Cadillac Blackwing is an incredible car as well plus the true 6 speed is very tempting for me to be honest. I might grab it just for fun and enjoy it and make content just to have owned every car in this class to compare then maybe grab a 2024 QV once we relocate south i don't know i am just anxious to get out of the M3 ASAP and since I sold the GT350R i miss having a modern manual to drive the older Ferrari are not cars to take out often there to valuable.
