The shipping for the double box costs the same as the shipping for the single box. The shipping costs for four single boxes is more than two double boxes, because shipping goes up for each box purchased.

But the cost of the license isn't worth it. I stopped selling the Basic boxes after Day 2. The Rare boxes stopped selling by Day 4, and I'm currently only selling Epic. But I will soon transition to Legendary, and well before I can get the 8 box Legendary I will have transitioned to only selling the Destiny boxes. Right now I can purchase the Epic 8 box licence, but I'd have to buy 750 of those boxes to regain the licence money and as I said, I'm just about to move on to Legendary so there's no way I'll sell that many. The one thing I think you should get the license for early is the Basic Card Pack (64). I use those for levelling up the store and I sell any particularly valuable singles I get (except for Ghosts, which I collect). I buy hundreds of card packs each day, so the shipping costs for that do mount up, and you'll save the $50 license cost very quickly.

@@WhiteRetroGaming The cheapest 8 box license is $200 for the basic card boxes. You save $2 in shipping per large box. So to make up for that, you have to order 100 large boxes (that's 800 card boxes). If you're looking to make the most money in the game, you should emphasise selling the most expensive card boxes you can and those basic card boxes should be done by day 2 or 3. Maybe you aren't trying to min-max your income. Is it worthwhile then? For the basic boxes, probably. But the bigger boxes cost progressively more each time, with even the Rare 8 box costing $650, which is 2,600 card boxes before you break even on the license. The Epic 8 box costs $1,500 and the Legendary costs $3,500. You have to sell a HUGE number of card boxes before you break even on those licenses. Late game when you're swimming in money, who cares? But in the early game when money is tight, it's a waste of the money you desperately need for other things.

Man, some people think WAY TOO MUCH into this- it is simple, keep stock on the shelf and stock often...market price/10%/round always. check prices every other day to stay near market price

It’s not that simple lol, without people like myself who take things as you say “way too much” games would not be able to get better, we are the ones who make games better, we find the bugs, the exploits, all the bad things and the cheesy things, without this these games would never get better and only stay the same, it’s called free testing, the dev can now use all of this info we have figured out to help him or her to fix anything and or create new stuff

Also it’s better to just hit market price and round than to touch the 10%, at market price the ai is 90% likely to buy something and if it does it rolls as number between 1-14 and half’s it, and that’s how much they buy

I had suggested to the developers about adding an auto bill pay feature. With it being a toggle switch in settings or an unlock once you reach a high enough level. Because once you reach mid game it would be a nice feature to have.

If you buy the big boxes... you need to sell at least 17 boxes to get 1 free. Also customers will also visit the empty shelves, and this probably causes the customer to think the item is not in stock. So either stock the shelve or remove the tag on the shelve.

The ai will visit any shelves you have regardless of if there is anything on it or not, tag or not, it will either a search for the item and find it and buy it, or it won’t buy anything at all cus you don’t have what it wants, dissatisfied customers will always happen until you stock every single item in the game

If going to do it that way, need to pack up game tables, you can only get a maximum number of customers at a time so the ones at the tables are taking spots from people that will buy. Need to get customers in and out as fast as possible, so you'll need to do register so the customers will despawn and respawn quicker to increase total customers overall. Also need to only have 6-8 shelves total and keep those fully stocked all day. If customer looks at shelf, RNG says buy 6 and you have only 1 item there, they will only buy the one box. Put employees on stocking while you do register. Have enough stock to keep all shelves full consistently all day, if that means only having 2 or 3 shelves out, its better than having 20 with 1 or 2 products each

Z shipping is going to get you if you just buy single boxes. Quick breakdown: To ship 1 box it's the same price regardless of size. However you need 2 small boxes to make 1 big box. So by buying 2 small boxes instead of 1 big box you're paying double the shipping. End of breakdown Something else I've personally noticed is I've made significantly more after getting rid of the play tables. My guess is that if you can get customers out of your shop faster, the faster they come back to buy more. As opposed to them sitting in your shop half the day, when they could have visited the shop 2 or more times in a day. Also Zachary sucks as a stocker. His only saving graces are he's cheap and he's faster than Terrence at sticking. However from what I've seen every other employee not only finishes what they're doing when 9 pm rolls around but if you have warehouse shelves for the stock they will put the items back on the warehouse shelves before leaving. As opposed to Zach who just drops what he's holding stops what he is doing and leaves.

there is only a certain amount of people who can be in the shop at the same time and a person sitting at the table counts as half a person if what said on the steam discussion is true and lets be honest playtables dont make much money if you compare it to a sale

Here's the real breakdown: The license for the 8 boxes isn't worth it, if you're focusing on selling the most expensive card boxes you can as shown in this video. You save $2 per large box in shipping. But the license isn't free. Just using the basic boxes for example, that license costs $200. So you would need to buy 200*4 (800) card boxes before you break even on buying the license. You should be selling Rare or maybe even Epic card boxes well before you could sell that many. Because the license for the other large box versions is so much expensive, they are an even bigger money sink. You'll need to sell 2600, 6000 and 14000 card packs for Rare/Epic/Legendary card packs just to pay for the license. Even if you can sell an average of 4 card boxes per customer (you won't), that's still 650 checkouts you need to do before the Rare box license gets paid off. I'd rather pay double the shipping and start selling the more expensive (higher profit) packs sooner. Zachary is fine as a stocker BECAUSE he's cheap. You can buy your stock at the beginning of the day and just let him deal with it while you open card packs. During the day, you can work on the register and even though he's slow, he'll at least do some restocking. You'll still need to help out, but not as much and you can keep the customers flowing through your store better. He more than earns the $50 per day he's paid and I don't care if he drops everything at the end of the day because he can just fix it in the morning.

Yes. But if you are pursuing the maximum profit strategy, the license cost for the 8 box version isn't worth it because by the time you can get it, you're either ready to move on to a more profitable box, or just about ready. What is worth it (IMO) is the Basic Card Pack (64) license. I use those packs to level up the store and I sell the valuable singles I find. I guess the 8 box license for Destiny Legendary cards you can buy at shop level 70 is also worth it, but hopefully by that time money is no longer an issue for you and you'll have created a more normal shop selling everything you can by then.

Purchasing the (8) pack will save you on shipping costs, as you will get 2x the product for the same shipping cost. (Ex. You purchased 16 of the (4) packs with a shipping cost of 32. If you had purchased 16 of the (8) packs, you would have 32 total for the same 32 cost for shipping) Shipping Cost: 2 dollars per 2 items

Wow, this is so not fun to watch. I feel like you're missing the point of the game - also, you seem to be under the impression that you're making a lot of money but you're really not? I make so much money from my play tables and especially from my single cards ON TOP of making the most money on my actual items. I was making bank at level 18! For anyone curious, yes it is WAY more fun to actually buy and play the game how it's supposed to be played than it is watching videos like this. Go buy the game guys!

For this strategy to pay the most you need to get rid of the play tables. Also while doing this just keep the restocker filling shelves during opening hours while you open card packs yourself for maximum xp gain

Just open the packs at the start of the day before you open the store. I started a new game recently using the strategy of only selling single cards and the card boxes. Right now I'm at the start of Day 7, my store level is 21 and my store revenue has been over $14k for the last two days (5 and 6). Plus I still have about 500 card packs to open before I actually start the day, so I'll probably gain a level or two from that. During the day I don't have time to open packs since I'm manning the register and doing restocking, particularly of the singles table but also the regular shelves since the restocker is slow.

@@rodh1404 I am working towards the collectors achievement so im not gonna restart. But i have all the employees and 2 of them is working the cash register while the rest is stocking. I only use 4 of the big shelves that can hold 8 boxes, and the only product i sell is epic destiny boxes. This gives me an income of 50-60k per day. No need to sit around with the shop closed for opening packs.

Fun Fact: You can now OPEN the Card Boxes, each one contains 8 packs of it's respective color, and sometimes you can get a decent card or two.

You CAN, but it's actually cheaper to buy the individual card packs. For example, in my game if I want to buy 32 basic packs, I could either buy the 32 packs individually for $64, or 4 boxes for $70.24.

The method really works. I started a new game and sold only single cards and card boxes (the most expensive box I could). On day 5, I made $$14,393 in revenue. Day 6 generated a similar amount. I have no play tables. I only use the 4 shelf that you sold at the beginning of the video because that holds more items per shelf. I am currently at the start of Day 7, my store level is 21 and I have over 500 card packs to open so I'll probably gain another couple of levels before I open the store. Once I start selling Legendary boxes (which should be any day now), I think I can probably push my revenue to around $30k per day.
