Love the interview! Yes...JOY in knitting....I have to remind myself constantly that it’s not how much or how fast but enjoying the process and the yarn sliding between my fingers as I create a stitch. Whole reason why I am a yarn snob! 😉

Oh Andrea... that is it: finding JOY. Again and again I’m reminded that we find this by pausing and noticing. Is it a warm and honey sensation? Does it replenish? That resource is inside. As much as knitting is everything, I struggle to knit with slow, self compassion. It’s always a practice to let go of the hustling after things. Being. Thanks ladies for the conversation!

Such a great interview!! I love how she started off by saying that you should knit what brings you joy. So often the things I’ve knit because I think that I will “need” them, I end up not wearing, but the knits that brought me a lot of happiness (even if they’re a bit out of the box) I wear all the time.

Loved all three of you in this short and sweet video podcast. Andrea Mowry is awesome and so down to earth. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of her. Btw. I did have a chance to chat with her for a minute at Indie Untangled. Even though I’m probably old enough to be her mother, i was totally starstruck.
