No matter what, you ll see littering in most places except malls or metros etc. Rivers certainly are seen as holy and people visit there but still they throw the trash and pollute it so badly. I've seen a program saying that 90% of the plastic in the sea comes from the third world, after seeing this it seems correct.While surfing Morocco a few years back there was s storm in land and the next day the beach was like a land mainly plastic bags washed down the rivers to the sea.
