Just a note on the MKD Range Rover Velar, it’s named as Dakar build as a concept. It has very little in common with Dakar race cars and probably would not come close to being in any class. It has more in common with a Sand Rail than Dakar racer. As a RR tragic I’d have preferred to see it in 4wd and a V8 to pay homage to the original RRs that raced in Dakar and had some success. Also worth noting is a GC based company supplied axle shafts , diffs etc to some race LRs and RRs back in the day…
