I think as fans that loved sematarys older music from grave house and rb1 hearing this new style and change is rlly appreciated. Atleast for me. Never would I have thought he’d make a song like parking lot scarecrow with that Gucci mane flow or dead trees with a style reminiscent of a 90s/80s dance type pop sound. He’s clearly having fun and after his success with the affliction collab and touring all over the world with so much recognition I’d be hyped and wanting to make more music of where I’m at in my life too lol

His earlier work sounding like a kid lost on the world and his life just dragging himself along the way to be done but trying to find enjoyment. And now his new music coming from a guy who’s worked hard to grow his group and music with new friends and living out his dreams and making money on his own and enjoying his life going dumb. I’m all for what haunted mound brings I think some fans just want one thing and that’s it without recognizing the achievements and change of life. crazy how i actually agree with you, i loved his last two actual efforts quite a bit, but this one feels like sematary is just trying to do an idles thing by expanding his appeal by doing more sounds in this type of style. but god some of these songs just end up being quite basic and not really that interesting. it d be much more interesting if he cut down on some of the songs or maybe even get trappier (with his last ep... which was kind of a bit of a mixed bag too), shoegazier (like with wendingo). but i do think he will pull through as time goes on, dude is pretty talented
