Meeting facetpoints is a process done by eye and hand. No plastic cnc parts could live up to that accuracy. Not even with a dazzling below $800 early bird special. Lol.

Good concept, but i believe you have targeted the wrong market. The fun of faceting comes from the learning process, knowing that with time and hardwork, you will have achieved a skill, that few in the world have. Saying that though, as a professional lapidary, i would certainly have a use for a machine like this, especially for calibrated stones. The problem with it is, that most of us would need a machine that is sturdy, limited chatter, a high output and great repeatability. I understand the cost would be dramatically increased, but knowing what professionals are willing to pay, i think you would have lines of people waiting to buy. It would be great to have a company in North America, like Ultra tec but for automatic machines, as the only automatic machines right now are from the far East and have no support after purchase.
