This is because you placed the knob in the middle..When filling the tub with water, make sure you turn the knob on wash which is on the extreme left and when filling the spinner, turn the knob to the extreme right. If it's in the middle, water will drain into both at the same time.

Yes, Hum apne hisab Se Time set kar sakte hai. 10-15 -20 minutes, uske baad Band ho jati hai. Kapade Wash karne ke liye aur Dry karne ke liye Manually aapko Time Set karna Padta Hai.
