WOW! Really good job, and easy to convince my wife why I can't do it :D

Really nice work, your wife is a lucky lady to have a husband so dedicated to fulfilling her thoughtful, clever vision! Well done to you both.

So happy I found this!! My attic is like this. All the work was done to mine before I moved in. But I wanted to change it.beautiful job!

Nice work! I'm thinking of doing something similar with a Pax unit, so it will fit flush against a wall with some sloping. Stupid question, but what tool did you use to determine the ceiling slope angle for your cuts?

So I didn't actually have any specific tool. I heard there are tools that you can use to do that though. Because the ceilings and the walls are not going to be level at all, what I would recommend doing is first probably frame out the bottom of your closet to get everything level against the wall as well (I didn't do this to give myself more vertical space in the closet). Take a leveler to multiple positions on your wall and find out where it is bumped out the most. Use that distance along the entirety of the wall and measure how high each closet side panel would hit on the ceiling (from floor to ceiling). This is your first measurement. Second measurement - measure the distance out from the wall (from the bumped out distance measurement you got before) that the side panel will span (depth of the closet) and see how tall that point is from the ground to the ceiling. Then I took those two measurements on each side panel individually, marked them, and cut a line between them to get my slope. I had to do this for each side panel location because the height of the ceiling is never uniform. I hope that made sense, but if it doesn't let me know and I'll try to clarify!

The PAX closet is very tall. Did you cut the top off to fit the sloped ceiling?

Yes, I measured the slope of where each side wall of the closet would stand, and then I cut the diagonal off to allow it to fit.
