Watch our semi final match against the HULKs from Hamburg at the 2024 RoboCup German Open in Kassel, Germany. This brought back recent memories of last year's RoboCup World Cup in Bordeaux where it was the same situation - the semi final - against the same oponent - the HULKs. Last time we managed to wear them down over the 20 minutes of playing time but it was nerve-racking at best! Leave us your impression in the comments below!

We're the HTWK Robots, a robotics team from the University of Applied Sciences in Leipzig (HTWK Leipzig); we participate in national and international RoboCup competitions in the Standard Platform League. In our league, every team uses identical robots, the NAO, so it's really a software showdown! Who can write the best code? Who can anticipate the strategy of the opponent? And who can do it all on a fairly limited platform?

oh thanks for pointing that out, you're right! There 'second goal' of the first half was invalid because of a violation of the 'Indirect Kick Rule", where two robots of a team need to touch the ball before scoring a goal. We'll fix our script for the score cards, sorry about the confusion! The proper result is 3:0 (1:0)
