11:30 ich habe nicht verstanden, warum es (diese Robot) kannt nicht goal? Entschuldingung fur mein Deutsch :/ Pourquoi le robot n'arrive-t-il pas a marquer le but? Est-ce que les robots sont autonomes?

This is funny as hell :) And really great to see the improvements from the previous year RoboCup, especially in terms of team interaction. B-Human, you are doing really great. Nice engineering! I wish I was younger and living in Bremen so that I could enter your university :) HTWK - thank you for the tournament. Please stop losing to B-Human and start kicking their asses :) BTW, I am really interested why do you use this specific hardware each year? It just doesn't seem perfect. Is it the best in the market?

The ball was in the goal before time expired at the end of the first half... why wasn't the goal counted?
@foxtrotromeo48767 жыл бұрын
the time shown in the stream is not synchronized automatically with the official game controller time. The timer on the stream was started manually and trust me, I stood right next to the official time: It was too late.

Bionic Lime i know. It should've counted

Amazing! Happy to see the bots improve over the years. Great job guys!

You are so optimistic. I have been watching this for like 15 years and i never think they seem to improve at all actually... You would atleast think they would be able to stand up after they fall by now. Compare this with robots made by Boston Dynamics
@cartev75588 жыл бұрын
blackmagic x Well, its definitely hard to make these. The ones from 2011 were slow as heck.
@erikm97688 жыл бұрын
yes of course, but if you look at other robo competitions like those sponsored by DARPA, it looks like those robots are light years ahead. anyway, i understand that budgets may differ enormously, but things like LIDAR is now very portable and cheap, not more than $100 as of 2016 , almost all robots in other fields use this. i feel like if they are serious about beating a real soccer team by 2050 they need to keep up with current developments and not just write code for the same plastic toys they use every year .

Are robots truly this terrible? I was expecting something awesome. Surely these are not the best bots in the world?
@os21718 жыл бұрын
well, yes and no. try to write a simple piece of code. A slightly complex code for an analysis might be difficult to accomplish, and is really exiting when it works. Now imagine writing the code for a robot Football player. Now that robot scores a goal!
@bronzehelm60468 жыл бұрын
If you have the resources of Honda or Toyota, you can make an awesome robot. Thee robots cost around $7000 and are programmed by amateurs and students.
@foxtrotromeo48767 жыл бұрын
Definitely not by amateurs. Almost every team consists of at least a few Master students and PhDs. The robot itself is fairly cheap though and has very limited resources (Intel Atom@1.5Ghz, no GPU, 1GB Ram, Camera resolution is native 1280x960@YUV422). The people would be able to write code that runs as good as the boston dynamics stuff for example, but one joint of these robots costs a six figure number.
