Congrats to Danielle and Pasha for being the first Pro Married couple to make it to the finale together. It was a dream idea back in season 30 for Jenna and Val when Jojo and Olivia were on. Also weird that this season didn’t have a planned double elimination.

Way back in season 24 when Sasha and Emma were still a thing people were thinking they would both make the finale. Emma eventually won with Rashad Jennings and Sasha was cut just before the finale with Simone Biles (unjustly imo)

This happened because of an unexpected need to reschedule the Press Your Luck finale (originally scheduled to air next to the DWTS finale) one week later. ABC suddenly had an extra hour of TV time to fill, and decided to give it to the DWTS finale which will now be three hours. Producers had to work on ways to fill the extra time, and the best option is to have more contestants remaining to perform on the show.

I believe the final 5 is already in the program weeks ahead HOWEVER it is a closely guarded secret.In the fake bottom 2 ,there is really a real 1 that has the lowest combined ratings.Whoever that is we will never know.Even if votes and scores are carried to next week,the new dances could increase or decrease the overall results.

This was the plan the whole time because of 2 reasons number 1 it's the first ever Len Goodman mirror ball trophy it's a really big deal I'm sure they wanted it to be special number two keep in mind when this season premiered the strike was going on which meant a lot of content like DWTS needed to be filled so making the finale 3 hours and having 5 finalists make sense I will agree with you I didn't like how they scared xotchil and Ariana

It just seems that Alyson is running away with the vote, so production is allowing an unprecedented FIVE couples to make it to finale night rather than eliminate someone more deserving.
