THanks! This was something I needed. Got electromatic's jack crushed inside the body and have no money to pay for repairs. So with this video I am good to go! :) Or somewhere there.

How did you make the cable with the jack plug at the end?

It is just an old plug from a discarded guitar cable, with the contacts cut off, the threads ground off and an 42 gauge string soldered into the rivet for the positive connection.

Sawing up a 335! lmao well it was grandpas and he gave it to me or it was my dads second guitar and it was setting around well hell i want to fix it as they look for the saw and drill with a 10k pot they pulled out of an old radio with their teeth hanging out.
