How long have you been hauling trash ? I’ve been driving for over 30 years but only hauling trash for about a month I really like it didn’t think I would but it’s a lot of fun really

I pulled garbage regularly for maybe a month then finally got to do end dump which is what I wanted but I got pulled off all the time to do garage runs for a while, then finally got to do end dump 100%. Ive pulled a fair amount of garbage though. The worst part is getting past the smell. It didn’t bother me after a while but sometimes I’d pick up loads from Florida and they would have a bunch of seafood packed in and I would almost throw up from the overpowering smell. I’m doing something different now but once my own truck is in service, I’m hoping to return back to flatbed.

I’ll never understand why big companies like MBI don’t use trailers with a tarp like this. It’s faster, safer and way less gross than climbing on top and manually rolling a net. 🤢

We use roll tarp sway better… But yes for a big company like MBI it would be super expensive getting tore up all the time

This company was always patching tarps. I don’t recall seeing a tarp without atleast 1 patch on it except maybe a couple times.

Walking floor all day

They used to use the walking floor trailers for the trash but now they use just regular trailers. The walking floor trailers are used for recycle material.
