nice truck. I would love to see a real custom truck. a brandnew 2022 flattop, double bunk CABOVER Pete. basically a spec truck and swap the cab onto it. thinking legendary red, with a vintage black and gold stripe package on it. maybe turned gold stripe around the black? now all you have to do is find a nice cab in a junkyard

Rather curious... Why do you guys remove the horns from the roof so much? Just a look thing? Other than my question, I do like the truck. Not my favorite color of green. However, it looks nice none the less. Better than I would think from just being told about it.

We take the horns off just for looks, but add air horns under the truck.

Green is not a bad color. We are a cabover country, here is a 1999 FLD 120 parked on a farm, was stripped and painted green but never got assembled, owner is now selling it, seeing this green machine making me wish I had the cash to buy it...

Eventually we will, but his trucks are in Wisconsin and we are in Tennessee. It’s just hard for us to get up there to shoot videos. We will be there in about 6mo but until then we just post some pictures.

Flame suit on...... I don't want to sound like a "Negative Nancy" and I know this is going to sound that way..... Is there a way (wet sanding?) to eliminate the orange peel?

We can paint and wet sand buff the paint to be perfectly flat, but you would have to do the entire truck. With just a strip job added we do our best to match the factory orange peal. We do how ever wet sand and buff it a little bit but not to the point that it looks different to the factory paint.

I love the colors and the stripes, but the hard tape lines showing through the clear are quite a disappointment for a custom paint job.

I got taken to court by the DOT officer in my town for having clear lenses he said I can't have the clear lenses. I got the DOT book which indicated as long as it was a Red bulb that it could be a clear lenses. I ended winning the case. Red to the rear.
