Here is a roadmap to becoming a VLSI engineer: 👇 Step 1: Get a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (EE) or computer engineering (CE).** During your undergraduate studies, you will take courses in digital electronics, circuit analysis, semiconductor devices, and computer architecture. These courses will give you the foundation you need to understand the design of VLSI chips. Step 2: Pursue a master's degree in VLSI design. This is not required, but it is highly recommended. A master's degree will give you more in-depth knowledge of the field and make you more competitive in the job market. Step 3: Gain experience in VLSI design and verification. This can be done through internships, personal projects, or open source contributions. There are also many online courses and tutorials available. Step 4: Network with other VLSI engineers. Attend industry events and conferences, and connect with people on LinkedIn. This will help you learn more about the field and find job opportunities. Step 5: Apply for VLSI engineering jobs. Digital vs. Analog Design Engineering (simple!): Digital:Like working with puzzles and building with Legos (0s and 1s, processors, phones). Analog: Like tinkering with electronics and understanding how things work (voltage, current, sensors). Before deciding Think about: ✔What interests you more: logic or electronics? ✔What kind of devices you'd like to work on (phones vs. sensors)? ✔Your strengths (logic skills vs. electronics knowledge)? Both are in demand, but digital might have more job options. Analog is forever and it is very challeging to automazie it. Explore both to see which clicks!

Good question. You should focus on practical as weak as theoretical learning. Learn some languages like verilog, burl, C/C++, python. Learn tools like MATlab, Ltspice. Buy a breadboard and practice some circuits. If your fundamental is strong you will earn a lot

@@Tomhankstomhanks7Tomhankstomha It is very very difficult. I am telling you the fact. And also I do not understand you what you mean by "cmos in microcontoller". Microcontoller is made out of the CMOS. Its like you want to make flour out of Pizza. (in fact pizza is made out of flour.)

@@kpj4985 I do not agree with this. I am non IITian but still able to make it in VLSI industry. IIT for sure gives your preference in India but there are other ways also. So have a faith in yourself!

@@chipacharya clearly you do. But go on. No job prospects except maybe Foxconn? Building last generation chipsets? So either a horrible semiconductor engineer, or terrible employment prospects.
